The service
ZapTools offers free online utilities at https://zaptools.net. You may use them for personal or commercial work. You do not need an account.
No warranty
Tools are provided as they are. Results can be wrong, incomplete, or unavailable. Do not rely on a calculator, hash, SSL check, date count, or any other result as professional, legal, tax, or security advice. Check important results yourself.
Acceptable use
- Do not use Ping, SSL Check, or Short URL to attack, scan, or disrupt a system you do not control.
- Do not submit unlawful content or content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Do not try to break the site, the admin area, or another visitor's use of the tools.
Your content
Text and files you enter stay yours. For tools that run in the browser, we do not receive that content. For tools that forward a value to finish your request, that value is used only to produce the result.
Our content
The ZapTools name, layout, and site text are ours. You may quote a short result you generated. You may not copy the site and present it as your own product.
Changes and liability
We may change, limit, or remove a tool at any time. To the extent the law allows, ZapTools is not liable for lost data, lost profits, or decisions you make from a tool result. Some places do not allow a full exclusion of liability; in those places our liability is limited to the maximum the law allows, which for a free tool is typically none.
